Descrizione Generale
It is proposed to extend and to innovate the present EURONODIM network of 16 EU-member states ocean and marine data centers, as follows: a) Horizontally by adopting a pan-European dimension, including marine data centers of Eastern European countries around the Baltic Sea and Black Sea, as well as additional Mediterranean countries. b) Vertically by extending the Sea-Search services and products with among others Common Data Index metadata base for data sets held at partners and Trial with high-bandwidth communication between the partner sites.
Attività svolta da ENEA
L'ENEA parteciperà al progetto e farà parte dei seguenti gruppi: gruppo guida e coordinamento; gruppo Mediterraneo per implementare il progetto a livello regionale; gruppo definizione dei requisiti ed implementazione el sistema di ricerca delle informazioni; partecipazione allo sviluppo del sistema di accesso alle informazioni; progetto pilota di accesso diretto ai dati; coordinamento delle attivit di promozione e sfruttamento del sistema SeaSearch
