Costruire un modello valido in Basilicata e nelle altre regioni del Mediterraneo per una corretta gestione delle risorse idriche e per una coerente integrazione con lo sviluppo rurale è il principale obiettivo del progetto “Image”.
Attività svolta da ENEA
ENEA is responsible for the WP 2 (generation of functional databases for territorial analysis) and WP 4 (Water resources management and DSS).
Activities:
mapping of land cover changes into a "regional land system" map;
defining indicator database structure;
Compiling the indicator database;
Generating indicator time series from the databases;
analysis of land degradation risk;
analysis of integrated models to evaluate available water resources;
identification of needs for a water resources management DSS;
implementation of a water resources management DSS;
