Descrizione Generale
The goal of this project is to make use of existing KIC partners’ expertise to support EIT RawMaterials staff in monitoring the performance of the SMEs and start-ups selected in the framework of the Start-up and Booster Programme. The expected activities consist in:
• Monitoring the actual performance of the planned work: the work may require verifying (in remote mode only, no direct visits to the start-ups or SMEs are required) the actual realization of e.g., prototypes, services to be delivered, products to be commercialized;
• Verifying deliverables’ content and adherence with the work-plan: verify the existence and performance of intermediate deliverables towards the realization of the final product/service. The partners will not be required to make an in-depth assessment of the scientific/technical merit of the work performed, rather to review and get an understanding of whether the work has been properly performed and according to the committed plan;
• Evaluate the congruence between the activities performed and the budget spent: the partner will not be required to perform an in-depth audit of the costs, rather to use expert judgement to evaluate whether the proposed budget is being duly spent, and whether this is in line with the volume of work performed;
• Reporting: the work will also involve 2 conference call reviews for each SME/Start-up monitored, the outcome of which will be reported to EITRM staff via a short report on the basis of a pre-defined template.
Attività svolta da ENEA
ENEA è core partner della Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) EIT Raw materials che nel mese di maggio 2020 ha emesso una call interna (rivolta esclusivamente ai propri partner) per attività di supporto allo staff di EIT per il monitoraggio di proposte progettuali presentate da start-up e PMI in risposta a una call specifica ("Booster Innovation call in response to the COVID-19 cristi). Le attività ENA riguardano nello specifico:
. Monitoraggio della effettiva performance del lavoro previsto;
. Verifica dei contenuti e della aderenza dei deliverable di progetto rispetto al piano di lavoro previsto nella proposta progettuale
. Valutazione della congruenza tra le attività svolte e il budget speso
. Reporting (due conference call di confronto per ciascuna azienda monitorata)
