ERANET objective is "To enhance the RTD output & effectiveness within land transport and marine technologies" in Europe through co-operation between the industries on technology transfer and co-ordination of national and EU funded RTD programmes, in line with the concept of ERA. The objectives at operational level are: - Identify areas of common interest where problem solutions are complementary or similar - Define common future R&D needs and a common technology road map for R&D actions - Form user groups for particular technology areas - Form networks of excellence from industry and research community
