This project constitutes a framework in which 6 experiments regarding ASP technology-based applications applied in different industrial field will be realised. Under this framework, management, dissemination and exploitation of synergies will be performed centralised to increase effectiveness. The activities are clustered in one contract with three horizontal tasks:
Dissemination: the individual results as well as the experiences gained with ASP technologies are extracted and collectively disseminated to stimulate further take-up;
Synergies: Synergies between experiments are planned to be exploited. In particular, a common lack of experience related to ASP-specific middleware and security aspects such as privacy, no-repudiation, identification, authorisation, authentication, firewalls, virus protection, and database security has been planned to consider more competent partners and/or joint procurement of this expertise from the outside;
Co-ordination: Administrative and financial co-ordination as well as the horizontal work packages are centralised, e.g. carried out by three experienced principal contractors.

L'ENEA coordina l'intero cluster di progetti e partecipa al progetto ITACA che è parte del cluster. Il progetto ITACA 'Internet Technology Advanced Clinical Automation' ha per obiettivo la realizzazione di un servizio web che fornisca la possibilità di accedere alle informazioni mediche ospedaliere di un individuo su base remota.
