Descrizione e Attività
Descrizione Generale
Ready-PV will establish a pan-European infrastructure ecosystem that allows researchers to access a comprehensive set of tools and facilities. This network will help them evaluate the durability, reliability, and real-world lifetimes of emerging photovoltaics (PV) technologies — including perovskite, tandem, organic, and quantum-dot PV . The project offers transnational and virtual access to a uniquely integrated network of infrastructures covering outdoor testbeds, indoor accelerated stability labs, and large-scale synchrotron
and neutron sources for advanced material analysis. Ready-PV addresses a critical barrier to market adoption of next-generation PV: the lack of harmonised access to infrastructure for evaluating degradation mechanisms and long-term stability under realistic and controlled stress conditions. In addition to physical access, the project delivers a suite of AI-enabled digital tools for simulation and diagnostics, including predictive modelling and automated data workflows. All data will be FAIR-compliant and interoperable with EOSC through integration with the NOMAD platform. Training and capacity building are central to Ready-PV . Training activities will ensure adherence to the FAIR-compliant harmonised dataflow and bridge the knowledge gap between the PV and fundamental research infrastructure communities through joint workshops, hands-on training, and AI-focused learning modules. Special attention will be given to engaging researchers from Widening countries. By combining physical, analytical, and coherent, open-access digital infrastructures into a single network, Ready-PV will enable faster, more credible PV reliability research and contribute to Europe’s strategic autonomy in clean energy technologies.
