The Network on the Detection of Explosives (NDE), is to support the EU and the Commission in the tasks related to the implementation of the EU 'Action plan on enhancing security of explosives', particularly of its detection section. In its activities the network will have to take account of the existing work carried out by different bodies at the EU level as well as national level across the EU 27.
