ECOFATTING aims at demonstrating the use of an innovative technology for the fatting phase of the leather tanning process, with the goal of producing new or existing products with a significantly higher eco-sustainability profile.
The specific technical goal of the project consists in the demonstration of use of a new category of products of natural origin, capable of substituting chlorosulfonated currently used in the fatting phases during the leather tanning cycle.
Attività svolta da ENEA
L'ENEA è responsabile dell'azione 10 (demonstration of technical economic viability), azione 11 (natural products fatting manual), azioni 13-15 (dissemination) e azione 22 (after-life communication plan).
