Descrizione e Attività
Descrizione Generale
The project will:
· survey businesses and build a database for environmental benchmarking,
· develop and implement pilot actions in six companies (office and kitchen furniture),
resulting in drafting of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) of products and assigning of
Environmental Product Declarations,
· implement Product Oriented Environmental Management Systems (POEMS).
· establish Product Category Rules on the basis of the LCAs,
· create an advisory board involving public bodies, trade associations and companies,
· create a web service,
· promote the project results.
Attività svolta da ENEA
ENEA is the coordinator and the technical-scientific responsible of the following activities: LCA of the product chains, development of the POEMS standard, implementation of a sector specific database in a LCA tool; benchmarking database. It participates actively to EPD and Green Public Procurement activities and to the training and dissemination events of the project.
